There is nobody with a functioning brain that thinks she bested him in that convo. She pitched a fit every time he pushed her on anything or asked her to substantiate her insane theories from the moment the conversation started. She sounded like she was about to start crying at one point, and everyone thought she was going to storm out in the first ten minutes. She started insulting him repeatedly, and then began spinning a false narrative as soon as she left.
Nobody has ever lost at anything the way that Candace lost in that room. There's a reason she's been so busy trying to spin it, and there's a reason she still hasn't uploaded it to her channel. She's too busy having it edited down as dishonestly as possible and posting short clips to twitter, because directing her fans to watch her performance in it's entirety would be career suicide.
Leaving the question of who bested who aside, what's with the total inability to address ANYTHING actually said in the article? It should be obvious as to why it matter, and Destiny even puts his reasoning in writing. It's relevant because Candace is giving bad advice on going to college, one of the most important decisions in a person's life, and potentially using lies to back up her arguments.
The question of who bested who has already been answered by other commenters, so I won't beat that dead horse. She lost. Roundly.
As far as who cares what she paid for college, I think a lot of people do, and probably you should as well. One of her main talking points in the convo was how college is a waste, and how you should definitely not go, because you'd get a useless degree, which would leave you in crippling debt.
She gives herself as an example of what happens, so it should be instructive to us to see what mistakes she made, so we can avoid them ourselves, when we go to college, or help our kids with their applications. Or not, if you follow her sage advice.
I won't go over the numbers, as they are laid out in Destiny's article above, but it's clear that whatever narrative she's using is fraught with either egregious memory lapses, or blatant lies. Given that she advocates pretty heavily for this dont-go-to-college stance in public, you would think that she put some thought into her positions. That makes it more likely that these are lies, and not just honest misrememberings. And dangerous ones, at that.

Oh, and her former landlord sued her for NON-PAYMENT of rent & for damages to the apt....
